Do you want to be in the medical profession? Do you have a caring heart when it comes to the elderly? You might be a perfect candidate to become a certified nursing assistant (CNA). Click here for a list of approved Tennessee programs and call the program nearest you for more information.

Training includes 40 hours of classroom learning and either 35 or 60 hours of supervised clinical instruction. If the program is offered through a nursing home, there is no charge for training, books or testing fees. In most cases, you will complete the program in four months.
