THCA/TNCAL Convention & Trade Show

Convention LogoTHCA/TNCAL’s Convention & Trade Show is the association’s signature event of the year, a time when Tennessee’s long-term care professionals can come together for education, networking, and a true sense of community. This year, however, the COVID-19 pandemic has created challenges unlike any our industry has seen before. THCA’s Board of Directors and staff have been considering the feasibility of holding a major event amid social distancing recommendations, restrictions on large gatherings, and the particular dangers of the virus to the elderly population.

After consideration of the entire situation, THCA has decided to cancel this year’s convention, which was scheduled for July 29-31 in Nashville. The decision was difficult but necessary to protect the health of attendees, vendors and, most importantly, your residents back home. The association will be converting some of the education that would have been offered at the 2020 convention to a virtual environment. Watch your email for information on this new educational opportunity! Currently registered members and exhibitors will be contacted by THCA to arrange for refunds.

Thank you for your tireless work protecting residents, and thank you for your association membership and dedication to the long-term care profession. THCA/TNCAL remains committed to serving the interests of its members, and we are already looking forward to a great convention in 2021. Better days are ahead!
