THCA offers membership opportunities for licensed nursing homes, assisted living facilities and homes for the aged, businesses, consultants and key employees of member facilities.

Active members are licensed nursing homes, assisted living facilities and homes for the aged. Active members of THCA are also members of the American Health Care Association.

Affiliate membership provides key employees like department heads in member facilities professional development through information, education and participation opportunities. THCA's affiliate associations include Activity Coordinators of Tennessee (ACT), Dietary Supervisors Association (DSA), Directors of Nursing Association (DONA), Environmental Supervisors Association (ESA) and Social Service Workers Association (SSWA).
