The Tennessee Health Care Education
Foundation (THCEF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to meeting
the ever-increasing challenges in long-term health care, providing
scholarship support to students in the long-term care industry and
advancing the standard of care given to patients in long-term care
facilities. The foundation, established by the members of THCA, was
chartered in 1979.
THCEF is governed and managed by
its Board of Directors, composed of an elected nursing home
administrator from each of the districts of THCA. The board includes
a business, industry or professional leader from each of the three
grand divisions of Tennessee, as well. The president, senior vice
president and immediate past president of THCA serve as ex-officio
board members. The board supervises the activities of THCEF,
delegating administrative responsibilities to the executive director
of THCA.
If you would like to support THCEF,
please use the contributor form. THCEF is exempt from federal income
tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Contributions to THCEF are tax deductible. Checks in support of
THCEF may be either corporate or personal.
